Welcome to our laboratory specializing in mineral processing testing and metallurgical analysis. We offer a wide range of services to assist in identifying, analyzing, and processing minerals for various industries.

Asia-Africa International is a mining and metallurgical research institute with many years of experience in the industry, committed to providing excellent laboratory services for all kinds of ores. We offer mineral analysis and testing services to support the mining and metals industries. We deliver accurate and reliable test results quickly to meet the unique needs of our customers. Our advanced equipment, experienced engineers, and technicians help our customers to optimize their mining operations better.

Mineral Identification Test
Our laboratory excels in mineral identification tests, utilizing advanced techniques and equipment. We employ a combination of physical and optical methods to determine the mineral composition of samples. Through visual inspection, microscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and other cutting-edge technologies, we can identify minerals and provide detailed reports on their properties, such as crystal structure, cleavage, and color.

Metallurgical Testing Labs
At our metallurgical testing labs, we offer a range of services to optimize the extraction and processing of valuable metals. Our team of experienced metallurgists performs comprehensive tests to evaluate ore samples and develop efficient extraction techniques. We analyze ore composition, mineral association, and liberation characteristics to devise customized solutions that maximize metal recovery while minimizing costs and environmental impact.

Mohs Hardness Test
As part of our mineral processing testing, we conduct Mohs hardness tests to determine the relative hardness of minerals. This test involves scratching minerals with standardized reference materials, assigning a hardness value on the Mohs scale. The results provide valuable information for mineral classification, processing, and evaluation of abrasive properties.

Chemical Analysis of Minerals
In addition to physical and visual tests, we conduct comprehensive chemical analysis of minerals. Our state-of-the-art laboratory is equipped with advanced instruments capable of determining the elemental composition and trace impurities in mineral samples. We employ techniques such as X-ray fluorescence (XRF), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), and atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) to provide accurate and detailed chemical profiles of the minerals under investigation.

FAQs

Yes, mineral lab testing is an essential component of assessing the economic viability of a mineral deposit. Through analyses like ore grade determination, mineral liberation analysis, and metallurgical testing, valuable insights can be gained regarding the potential profitability of mining operations and the appropriate mineral processing techniques.

Metal ores, non-metal ores, rare earth ores, precious metal ores, sand ores, rocks, stones, tailings, etc.

Ore minerals: Copper-lead-zinc, gold, molybdenum, tungsten, titanium, tin, antimony, bismuth, cobalt, nickel, chromium, iron, manganese, phosphate rock, fluorescein rock, bauxite, pyrite, etc.

Concentrate products: Copper concentrate, lead concentrate, zinc concentrate, gold concentrate, tin concentrate, antimony concentrate, tungsten concentrate, molybdenum concentrate, etc.

Mineral products: Concentrates (beneficial and harmful impurities), raw materials, smelting slag, etc.

Mineral lab testing involves various tests and analyses, depending on the specific requirements and objectives. Common tests include elemental analysis, chemical composition analysis, mineral identification, physical property testing (density, hardness, conductivity), mineral liberation analysis, ore grade determination, and mineral processing tests.

Mineral lab testing uses state-of-the-art equipment and standardized procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability. However, the accuracy of results may vary depending on the complexity of the analysis, sample quality, and the proficiency of the laboratory conducting the tests. Our reputable laboratory follows strict quality control measures to minimize errors and provide reliable results.

The turnaround time for test results can vary depending on the complexity of the analysis, sample size, and the laboratory’s workload. Some routine tests may provide results within a few days, while more complex analyses may take several weeks. When requesting the testing service, it is advisable to inquire about the estimated turnaround time.

We do offer rush services and charge a certain expedited fee. Because there are so many variables, exactly how fast you get the results for a rush sample will depend on the sample type, the testing required, and the lab’s capacity at the time of sample receipt.

Of course, if the customer has this requirement. Because some mineral separations have relatively high value, we send the valuable minerals back. Otherwise, we dispose of minerals in accordance with the relevant environment and regulations.

A single piece of equipment cannot fully achieve this effect, it depends on the entire beneficiation process.

Element detection is generally around 500g.

The optional test needs 30 kg – 200 kg, and it can be completed within 1-3 working days. The cost depends on the complexity of the original ore. Generally, it is between $150 and $5,000.

Depending on the nature and complexity of the mineral, it usually takes 3-12 months or longer. The cost generally starts at $45,000 and other costs will also be incurred during the test.

Our test is professional and rigorous. Generally speaking, it is a normal phenomenon that the recovery rate between the test results and the formal production is ±5%. We can do a pilotscale experiment, the capacity is 3-5T/D raw ore, which is the closest to and represents the actual production effect.
